[The First of Many...]
... new entries that is. it's been difficult to update on the road so i've resorted to jotting down my thoughts by pen. i've notice a lack of pictures on the blog in the past few months (mostly due to my laziness)... i've taken a grip of photos from all over so i guess i'll share a few at a time. hopefully these will give those whom i haven't had a chance to catch up with an idea of wut i've been up to these past few months. hopefully these will inspire some of you, as well as the people you see here (yes. that means you), to ring me up and say hi, or at the least leave a msg. they say a picture is worth a thousand words... here's seven grand:
Gate G93 at LAX
In a phone booth in London
A toast with friends old and new in Taitung, Taiwan
Venice Beach, California
Somewhere over the Pacific
The Family at Osaka, Japan
and now, an excerpt out of that black book i keep by my side:
9/14       NRT -> LAX
I often wondered myself if I'm closer to God when I fly. After sitting through ten minutes of really rough turbulence (the kind where the captain goes on air to ask the flight attendents to suspend beverage service and to buckle up themselves), my doubts were confirmed. In such a helpless situation, all minds in the plane turn to only a few things... "Am I going to live through this?" "My family, my spouse, and loved ones... Will I ever get to see them again?" And then there are those who make a pact with their God... to be a better person and to live a more righteous life than they have been living. I suppose this is just one of the ways He keeps us in check. FIN.
