[Birthday numero tres] The drinking never seems to cease. This has been the third occasion to date. Stan came with me to Henry's to share a few drinks with other October babies. Using my real ID is quite weird. I miss my fakes. I haven't used my real ID for over an year. After chilling for an hour, we made our way to the library where I was unable to contain my smiling. Now I'm back to wasting my time and not sleeping when I have an 8 o'clock tomorrow.

[Inner Demons] Didn't get around to any studying last night. Plagued by laziness, lack of motivation, and some more laziness. Fell asleep to the book I've been trying to finish since summer. Slept through a couple alarms and disturbing dreams of parents bickering, heights, and not reaching potential. I'm being plagued by my inner demons...

[In response to] all those who complained that I was in the library last night til 2 AM... news flash people... its Wednesday night in Berkeley. "Da Library" is the place to be! It doesn't get anymore bumpin' than that. And then, there were the haters who bitched that I had not one drop of alchohol on all day. Apparently, root beer doesn't count.
As a result, I'm conceeding and will be celebrating my birthday all week long. Jessica says that 3 shots per day over the week seems reasonable. So you if you're still complaing about my library birthday celebration, put your money where your mouth is and buy me a drink. I'll be waiting for your call.
Thanks to all those who called, emailed, messaged, and mailed. It was a humble happy birthday. ten twenty-two!
[Happy Birthday Mom]
I am forever grateful for your unconditional love.

[Major Mind Dump] this is where I empty my brains to make room for the new ish...
after a physiscally/mentally/emotionally demanding month, i forced myself into taking a mini-vacation. i managed to fit all my committments into a condensed week. as a result, i found myself in 3 different labs in one day (a personal record i believe). after catching up with some friends and a true homie, i drove home to fall asleep on the floor. a few delerious phone calls later, i found my pledges bros at my door and my bags unpacked. so i threw some ish in my bag and left (i think i ended up forgetting socks and some toiletries). 7 hours later, i was in sherman oaks getting picked up by the ever so ghetto fabulous '95 avalon.
that's right folks, all the mods you see are nutcrew originals.
i spent the night at bronwood waiting for saved by the bell to pop on TBS but we were let down by the television gods. the evening was topped off with beers and tacos cuz apparently socal supermarket chains are having labor union issues and a brother gots to deal with crossing picket lines just to get a bag of chips.
the crack on my watch is starting to bug me. i've come to realize that somtimes i let imperfections annoy me. solution? live with imperfections? naw... time to get a new blacked dialed watch.
Life often find itself without meaning. I'm closing in on twenty plus years on an unfamiliar road. in the horizon, you can catch a glimpse of things to come though you're not sure exactly how you are gonna get there. and you wonder if there is there really a pot of gold at the end of the road. utilitarianism tells us that the ends justifies the means. i think sometimes we get so caught up by where we want to be, that we lose sight of how we got to where we are.

[Basketball Jones] How many of you out there can't wait 'til the NBA season starts?? It sucks that I have to miss the Lakers-Cavs preseason game for my anatomy lab (Thursday night 6-10). For those of you who can catch it, its gonna be on TNT. Enjoy!

[Spicy] Gosh damn! I'm a kimchi eating machine. So Stan and I decide to head out Friday night for some eats. On the way back, we stop by Pusan (local korean supermarket) for some groceries... probably cuz we've been craving kimchi all week. So its Sunday evening and I got back from the library. I made myself a sandwich for tomorrow's lunch and I get in a snacking mood. When I go to put my salami sandwich in the fridge, my hands goes for the kimchi. So here I am... with kimchi jar and bowl in front of the computer.

Just for those who are curious...... 2 oz per serving. 10 calories. 0 fat. 260 mg sodium. 1 g carbohydrates. vitamins A and C with a little iron to boot.
It's been about 48 hrs... the jar is almost half empty. Should've sprung for the $13 jumbo jar.
