[Thoughts On Life Pt.2] Everyone has their problems. Everyone has their sorrows. It may seem at times that the world is coming down on you. But just remember... it's not that bad. Instead worrying about which sidewalk I'm sleeping on tonight, I'm stressing over homework in my leather chair. The best way to not take our lives for granted is to live it to the fullest. Morally. Wholly. Soulfully.
[Doctor, Doctor] Can you prescribe me something for my dilemma? Sometimes I enjoy my marketing class so much I wonder what I am doing pursuing a bioengineering degree. Maybe it's just a breather from the daily engineering grind... or was it meant for me? Lord can you tell me what you have in your plans for me?
[Glorified Sports Movies] I gotta admit. I'm a fan. Flicks that have that element tend to hit a nerve. I'm not quite sure what it is, but they certainly are fun to watch. Despite the usual dramatic comeback win, I love it for the way the passion for the game is portrayed. Yea, the genre varies... The Rookie, Any Given Sunday, Summer Catch, Remember The Titans, Tin Cup, Love and Basketball, and for those who know me, Jerry Maguire. Sometimes you get some tear-jerkers and somtimes you catch a glimpse of well-shaped breasts. But what can I say? I'm a fan.

[Water and Trees] I think everyone should get a little of both whenever they can. This past weekend I had a chance to spend some time at South Lake Tahoe with a few of my pledge bros. I must say the air was great, the lake was gorgeous, and the company certainly didn't dissapoint. You don't have to be a outdoorsman or even a tree lover like an old friend of mine to really appreciate the beauty of stately pines towering over pristine waters. Taking full opportunity of the great weather, we got a lot of sun and had a great time boating and innertubing. We topped off the night with dinner at Chevy's and strawberry margaritas... a fitting end to a day on the lake.
[A Toast] College has been generally a rough time for me. I've gone through a couple down cycles, struggled with the loss of family and a friend, and on-and-off health problems. In comparison, life was many times better back in the days.... with my world-view small and problems few. Good times consisted of daytime misadventures in cars with my boys and late night boba with the girls. I guess things aren't just the same anymore with life and its neverending list of trials and complications. But the underlying factor that has always helped me through difficult times are family, friends, and a little bit of faith. So here's to friends of the past and present: I thank you and am thinking of you.
[Fast Forward] If you would ask me to fast forward my life fifteenyears and tell you what I see, I don't think I would be able to paint such a picture. At this point in my life, I'm constantly finding myself lost. Take my career goals for example... You know those people who always knew that they wanted to be a teacher or a musician since they were in grade school? Well, I'm not one of them. I've gone through flares of interests in the past 2 years including hotel management, architecture, medicine, business, and most recently optometry. Whatever life may be like in ten years, I hope I'm doing something I'm passionate about. Add in two boys, a lakeside property, and a healthy dog... hmmm... picture that. What do you see me doing in ten years?
[Feedback] If you're out there at home or work reading my entries, I would love it if you could share some thoughts or comments. Feedback, positive or negative, is definitely appreciated. That way I don't feel like I'm talking to myself, which is pretty weird for me. It's also a good opp. to catch up with one another....with that said, send some e-mail my way! (you can reach me at george_@uclink.berkeley.edu).
[Moon roof open, wind in hair, open road and the starlit skies...] yes, I must be listening to "Jon B - Tell me"
Goodnite.

[Why do guys need hot mamas?] Let's take a look shall we?....
1) They smell good. mmMmmMmm. That's right fellas. You know what I'm talking about.... That intoxicating smell that kinda leaves you craving for more.
2) Eye candy. Even the ladies gotta agree. The female body is a beautiful thing. Curves and everything ('cuz the homies don't want a toothpick for a chick).... which brings me to the next item.
3) Cuddle. No no no.. I'm not talking 'bout no ubersensitive hug. We fellas like something to hold other than our pillows at night.
Damn... class starts in 5 so I'ma bounce and continue this another day.

[Wow] It's been a long time since I've had some down time. So much has happened since the last time I blogged. It's a shame that my memory isn't the best there is out there. There are probably lots of things I can reflect upon. Let's start with this week:
1) I've learned that I don't have to worry about all the small things... It'll drive you crazy. Sometimes you just have to let the things that are out of your immediate control take care of itself. Like the old adage goes, time is a healer.
2) The feeling of being lost can be quite dangerous if you let it consume you. Losing control over aspects of your life might leave you hanging over ledges. But not to worry... regaining that control is just a matter of breaking things down into manageable chunks. It's not as easy as it sounds but it's all downhill after taking the first step.
3) Water is boring. Why drink water when you can have tea? Why drink tea when you can have coke? Why drink coke when you can have VANILLA COKE! Variety is indeed the spice of life :)
5) I know... 4 comes after 3... but why follow all of the the rules all of the time?
4) I guess I'm all out of smart things to say for the night. Note to self: Happy good. Sad bad.
[Hi Linus.] Now leave me alone for another week or so.
