[Quick Update.] Rearranged my apartment to make room for my roommates stuff. I need a bed to sleep on. The futon is still good but I think it's keeping me from a good nites sleep. Hit me up if you have any leads to a bed.
[Hidden Hobby:] I think I got a knack for interior design/decorating. A eye for colors? Good spatial skills? Or just good taste? I dunno. All I know is that it's fun and a good outlet for creativity. Too bad it's too expensive of a hobby. All I know is that I have no problems sitting thru a MTV Cribs marathon.
[Shy.] That's me. Yup. I'm definitely not the most outgoing person out there. Often times it takes a lil' courage to break the ice with new people I meet. I suppose that probably creates a problem when people try to get to know me. In light of that, I'm gonna try to reveal a lil' piece of myself on my blog when I can. Hopefully this new approach gives you guys a glimpse of what goes on in my head all the time. Maybe I'll learn something new about myself as well in the process. So here goes... we'll start off lite today.
[Music Junkie.] Boy I love my music. If asked to describe my fav. genre, I'd have to say one part hip-hop, one part r&b, blended with lots of rap and soul, with a twist of smooth jazz. MmmmMmmMmm. That's some good stuff right there. As much as I like my radio-overplayed jams, I have a greater love for the obscure. I'd like to call it music for the esoteric. One of the best feelings is to run across a great song that's not too mainstream. Now those are my favorite. I don't like to share those. I get possesive with my babies. Selfish? Yup. But don't worry. I always end up sharing.... cuz it'd be a shame if I'm the only one who knows about it. Music is twice as great when you're enjoying it with a pal.
Sorry if that was boring. If you were looking for something with a little more drama, check out Em's blog for some juice.
[And now for your listening pleasure:] "Cam'ron - Hey Ma"

[Granted.] We all take things for granted sometimes. As I was walking to MCB this morning, I had a moment. Though still some what tired from the night before, stressed from the past week, sick from the past two months, I felt good. I felt down right happy. I thought, "God dangit! I'm one lucky SOB." It's good to be alive. It's great to be alive... as opposed to the morbid alternative. I'm so glad I have the opportunities to pursue my life. No matter how dark things may be in your life, every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

[It's been a while] since I've felt alive. It's been a while since I've smiled like a kid. It's been a while since I've cried. It's been a while since I've felt... complete.
[For the ladies:] Love him for the man he wants to be. Love him for the man he already is.

[Apparently] abdominal pain is very hard to diagnose. I suppose that explains why I've gotten various suggestions from different doctors. One wants me on Vioxx for inflammation of the ribs (kinda like arthritis). The other thinks it might me ileitis which is inflammation of the small intestines, requiring me to take a steroid. That's some serious stuff... probably not something I want to be messing around with. I'm just hoping that I get better before the school years starts.
[Thanks again] to everyone who's been asking me what's going on with my dang mystery pains. As much as I got annoyed of typing the word "anti-inflammatory" (a really long word to be typing like 20 times a day), it really showed me that I have a lot of friends out there who are truly concerned for me. That makes me feel pretty damn good I'd have to say.
[Put your emotions on paper.] When you're in a stressful situation, writing your emotions out is a catharsis.

[Health Update] Due a last minute decision, I flew home Saturday night in hopes of seeking some immediate medical attention. Friday evening was a night of outrageous pain and frankly one of the evenings I'd rather forget. A couple of my closest had to see the worst of me. For the concerned, I'm feeling better now. I'll be meeting with a surgeon tomorrow. Depending on the urgency of my problem, I could end up being admitted into a hospital or possibly even under the knife. We'll see. I'll continue to post updates as find out more for myself. The older I get, the more I value my health.

[Welcome] Well. There you have it. I'm the newest member of the bloggin' population. For those of you who don't know me too well, I usually don't have much to say... unless I got a point to make. I suppose that has something to do with my creedo: "If ya don't got anything important to say, don't saying anything at all." No offense intended for all of you talkative personalities out there. Without you guys, well... the world would be a much quieter place.
[Expectations] Don't expect me to update too often. I have problems managing my time as it is. It takes me like five hours of playing with everything in sight before I can sit down and focus. Not to mention my current state of health and state of mind. Blood tests, urine tests, x-rays, colonoscopies, endoscopies... name it! I've had them all! With all the IV needles and syringes thats been poking me, I look like freaking crack addict shot up on both arms. All of it is messing with my mental stability.
[I wish...] the doctors would just figure out whats wrong with me so I can get on with my life. Is two months of chronic pain not enough?? I've tried to cope... I really have. Every other week, I drive back and forth to LA to see a specialist. On my off weeks, I take midterms. <--- Those are toughies. It's near impossible to study for them when you're writhing in pain and discomfort.
[Sorry] for complaining so much on my first entry. I'll try not to do it too often.
[Thank you] to those who check in on my everyday to see if I'm still surviving. It really makes me feel that I'm taken care of and in your thoughts and prayers.
[If a moist & chewy white chocholate chip cookie fell on the floor, would you eat it?] Hmm.. I guess that depends on who's looking.
